I'm a contemporary handweaver with a focus on original, complex weaving design. Handspun and hand dyed yarns are often used in my creations and I prefer organic and abstract design over realistic representation. Currently I am weaving shawls, scarves, throws, towels and table runners and a small line of handwoven yardage for wearable art.

Description
Handwoven shibori scarf. The design is created by pulling threads woven into the body of the scarf. These are gathered, the scarf is painted with dye and then the gathering threads removed.
